Utility crews will be flushing hydrants beginning Sunday night October 16th and completing flushing Friday morning October 28^th as weather and temperatures allow.  The estimated schedule of flushing routes can be searched for on our interactive map on our website at water.ridgewoodnj.net.

Flushing will be performed between the hours of 9:00 pm and 4:30 am Sunday nights through Friday mornings.  All consumers may temporarily experience fluctuations in water pressure or water discoloration, however, there are no safety or health concerns associated with the minerals that get stirred up.  Residents should avoid doing laundry while flushing is taking place.  Running cold water at the lowest tub or sink for a couple of minutes prior to starting laundry after 4:30 am is recommended.   A follow-up call will be made when flushing is completed or suspended due to temperature.  Thank you for your cooperation and patience.
