Water Distribution Upgrades

Phase 1- West Glen Booster Pump Station (COMPLETED)

The new pump station on West Glen Avenue in Ridgewood has been operating successfully since May 2026. Known as a "booster" station, it was constructed to improve water pressure and reliability in a low-pressure area by pumping water uphill into Midland Park. The station is an important infrastructure investment that enhances system performance and helps ensure a consistent water supply for customers.

Phase 2- Glen Avenue Water Main Replacement Project (BEGINNING SOON – EXPECT TRAFFIC INTERUPTIONS)

Ridgewood Water will be upgrading critical water main infrastructure along Glen Avenue (Bergen County Route 82) in Midland Park and Ridgewood. This work is supplementary to the West Glen Booster Pump Station (Phase 1) recently installed at the intersection of E. Glen Avenue and Oak Street in Ridgewood. After completion, the newly upsized water main will further assist in improving water pressure and reliability in a low-pressure area (located at the top of the hill).
