INFORMATION ABOUT LEAD IN YOUR DRINKING WATER

Print

In September 2008 Ridgewood Water exceeded the action level for lead in drinking water. Subsequent testing  of lead in the drinking water in May2009 and August 2009 have both resulted in lead concentrations below the action level. Please note that the water Ridgewood Water supplies to its customers only contains traces of lead. The main source of lead in drinking water, if any, is from household plumbing or service lines that contain lead.  Click here for general information about lead in drinking water.
