Ridgewood, NJ (September 13, 2018) – On Wednesday, September 12, 2018, Ridgewood Water hosted an informational webinar for local leaders and elected officials in our service territory.

The function of the webinar was to provide participants with an overview of information now being prepared as a Public Notification Supplement to Ridgewood Water’s 2018 Water Quality Report.  The report provides the results of routine monitoring performed in 2017 and was issued in June of this year.  The supplement has been prepared for print and mailing to all customers. We anticipate it will reach customer mailboxes as early as September 17, 2018.

Ridgewood Water hosted the webinar in recognition that government representatives and local leaders desire and expect to have information of interest to them and their constituents in a timely manner, so they can best serve their communities.

The webinar also announced Ridgewood Water’s plans to hold its first Regular Water Quality Open Houses in Wyckoff, Midland Park, Ridgewood and Glen Rock in the early fall.

During the Open Houses, Ridgewood Water’s professional staff and technical experts will be on hand to provide information and answer questions about what the utility is doing to provide customers with reliable, quality drinking water.  Open House dates, times and locations will be publicized and posted on this website.

A copy of the presentation used for both the webinar and the 9/12/18 Village of Ridgewood Council Meeting can be found below.  A stream of the Council Meeting can be found at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g0JQIXr5JIc, with the Ridgewood Water presentation beginning at the 33:00 minute mark.
